SIFC Shares 2015-16 Service Funds

What a joyful evening! Soroptimist International of Fort Collins shared service funds with some highly deserving nonprofits that share the Soroptimist mission to improve the lives of women and girls, locally and throughout the world.

Melissa received a check to help the Poudre School District Teen Parent Program from 2015-16 Club President, Cheryl Rojas.

Michele received a check to support Hearts And Horses Women's Warrior project from SIFC member, Donna Weyer. Also shown--Women's Warrior participant, Joan.

binh received a check to Children of Peace International from SIFC member Joan Gladden. The funds will be used to help educate young women in Vietnam.

Robin and Nicollete received a check from SIFC member Lois Peltz to support A Place For Grace's efforts to provide staff expertise to educate and counsel at-risk women with a history of chronic unemployment.

Soroptimist International of Fort Collins has a proud history of sharing our service funds to help females of all ages, at different points of life, globally as well as locally.

SIFC strives to contribute about 20% of our service funds to global efforts while keeping 80% in our local community. When we talk about global efforts we’re including support for our Rocky Mountain Region’s Governor’s Project, support of our Federation through Club Giving, and support of International efforts on behalf of women.

The graphics, below, show where SIFC funds were distributed this year.
